BT Public Payphones Removal consultations - Forest of Dean and Cotswold Districts


BT has identified 60 public payphones in Cotswold District and 72 in Forest of Dean District that they propose to remove. Consultation notices have been placed on all the relevant payphones. Although there is some confusion, BT believe we have 2 phone boxes in the parish.

The consultation process also gives communities the opportunity to adopt a traditional red 'heritage' telephone box (minus the phone) as a community asset for £1. For more information on adopting a phone box, click here to go to the BT website.

The Councils are inviting the public to contribute their feedback on the proposed removals, which they will then pass back to BT as part of the consultation. For details of the relevant payphones and how to take part in the consultation, follow the relevant links below:
